Attached below is a concordance comparing The Wilson Reading System's scope & sequence with the Lexercise scope & sequence.

Wilson and Lexercise are both Orton-Gillingham approaches. As can be seen from this concordance, they both identify a similar set of phoneme-grapheme units (i.e., Their scopes are similar).  They differ somewhat in their sequence of introduction of linguistic units (e.g., phoneme-grapheme pairs, morphemes spelling patterns). Nevertheless, a Wilson user should be able to use Lexercise to generate Word Banks and games that are consistent with the client's current Wilson Step.

The main differences other than the order of introduction of linguistic units are listed and explained at the bottom of the attached concordance, along with suggestions for how Wilson users can manage these issues when using Lexercise to create structured Word Banks and when using the Lexercise online games for review and reinforcement.
