Would Lexercise be helpful to children who have RAN(rapid automatic naming) deficits? Why? If so, how would we tailor the games ?
I have a 13 year old client whose word attack skills are described as "erratic", mild difficulty with reading comprehension for inferential language, high level of accuracy for vocabulary and retrieval but very slow during tasks of rapid naming(labeling objects, colors) and retrieval fluency (naming as many things as possible in 1 minute from a specified category). She does well in the classroom---A's and B's---with the primary complaint being mild difficulty with written expression for punctuation and transitions.
