I have a 3rd grader who resorts to writing in capital letters for the B, P, D, L because she has trouble with the lowercase when she 'reads' them. She cannot read her own writing correctly back to herself when those letters are in lowercase. She also has a lot of difficulty with reversing numbers especially. So 12 is 21 and she cannot tell which is which when she does her math work. She is always reversing the numbers when she copies them and puts them in the wrong place value column. Is this a sign of dyscalculia or visual processing deficits, dysgraphia??
