Lexercise is a blended learning platform that is customized for every child. This system not only gives kids daily practice, a feature that is often missing interventions, but it also helps parents and teachers know exactly how to help.
Parents, grandparents and teachers typically have many short conversations with their student each day. Research tells us that such short, "on-the-fly" conversations can be an enormously powerful, even more powerful than formal vocabulary lessons.
Here's how it works:
The child plays the Lexercise games customized for him/her by a Lexercise Clinician. These games are designed to be played every day, usually for ~ 15 minutes.
The Lexercise software system sends an automatic email report to the clinician and to the parent so they can immediately see what words the child missed. This email also tells them exactly how to practice with these words in a way that will help the child remember them.
Below is an example of one of these emails. The blue text will be hyper-linked to help parents and teacher understand how to use the coaching method (e.g., White Board Spelling) and to provide help with the pronunciation of words (e.g., <hatchet>) and letter-sounds (e.g., <tch>).
